Six centuries after the birth of Jesus, in a land approximately 3,797km away (or 2,359 miles in the old money!) the man who would become St. David preached the following in his final Sunday sermon: “Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things that you have seen me do”. I don’t know which text he was preaching on, but it could very well have been the one we’re looking at this week. In the hands of Jesus, even the smallest efforts help build a huge Kingdom.
