Sunday Service 27th February 2022
We have been looking at the different ways Jesus describes himself in John’s gospel with the “I am” sayings (e.g. “I am the bread of life”). This week we come to one of the most significant sayings: “I am the resurrection and the life”, which he says on raising his friend Lazarus from death. It’s obviously an important saying, but what does it actually mean for our daily Christian faith? Also, we discover when Jesus is talking to Lazarus’ two sisters he doesn’t give a deep philosophical answer about what we should think and feel when someone we love dies… he does something else which is far more expressive. Come along and watch on line on Sunday to find out!
