Colossians 1: 9-14

I am not the regular shopper in our house so, when I am sent out, I am given a shopping list and sometimes even information which tells me which aisle to look in and certainly which size, number, and often make!

We have lists for all sorts of things as reminders. In today’s passage, St Paul speaks of praying for the folks in the Colossian Church – one of many that he was used by God to found. He is so enthusiastic that he must have had a list to remember all the names of the people. He tells us what he prays for the people; ‘that they may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will.’

Do we pray for each other regularly…?
