We’re continuing to look at the ‘true vine’ passage in John 15. A vine may have beautiful leaves but that’s only because its roots are planted in fruitful soil. Jesus compares that farming picture with what it’s like for us spiritually… unless we’re abiding in him, then our lives will lack the strength and power that he provides. “Apart from me you can do nothing” Jesus says. It’s quite a simple but stark warning – join us as we reflect on it together.
