Someone’s final words are often especially important and this would be true for Jesus’ final words in Matthew’s gospel. He tells them that – as they go about their lives – to seek to make disciples. And, as these new disciples were recruited, so they also follow the same command – as they also go about their lives – they should also seek to make disciples. That sounds to us to be a “big ask”.
