As we read this passage, think about the meeting between Simeon, Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus. Think about the conversation and the huge impact that had on them all. Think about the others in the temple that day people of different ages and stages of faith and with different life experiences. What does this recorded event show us about our church family? No matter our age or experience, we are family – God’s family. How can we all learn from and impact each other’s faith journey and all the time be sharing God’s immeasurable love and grace with each other?
