‘Oh No! Not the good Samaritan again’ – that may well be your understandable reactionhaving heard many a sermon on the kind-hearted chap. However, as the old hymn puts it:

‘Tell me the story often
For I forget so soon;
The early dew of morning
Has passed away at noon’

And that applies to all parts of the gospel story.
