On Easter Day at Christ Church we’ll have the large wooden cross at the front and, during the reading about that first Easter morning, we’ll start to invite folk to bring forward small posies of flowers which can be attached to the cross. It’s something we did a few years ago (before Covid if you can remember that far back!).

It’s a beautiful representation of the new life of Easter that the women found out about Jesus and the new life he offers to all of us who follow him. Not that this solves all our problems in one stroke – but it does reframe our lives and bring us a deeper joy and hope.
