On the 18th-20th October we’re having another Church Weekend At Home. It will be a time to enjoy each other’s company, have some great teaching from our own Donna Pilgrim, worship, eat together… and, at the end of the day, go back to our own beds! The last one we held in 2022 was a great success. It’s for both our church families and will be based at Christ Church.
Together we will be exploring the theme of ‘Being With Jesus’. The weekend will include supper on the Friday evening plus lunch and ‘fish & chip’ supper on the Saturday. There will be various activities taking place on the Saturday afternoon which you can join in (more details to follow on this in due course). On the Sunday we will have specially themed services at both Christ Church and Emmanuel to finish the weekend.
The cost of the weekend is £30 per adult (children come free) which will include all the food. We appreciate that these are difficult economic times so, if you would love to come but are having difficulty finding all the money, do please have a word with me.
Please do pop your name on the sign-up sheet if you are planning to attend. And, at the same time, select your choice for the fish & chip supper on the Saturday evening.
